Liver Sliders

Ingredients:


Sliders:

  • chicken or duck liver

  • Worcestershire sauce

  • minced onion

  • I clove garlic (squeezed)

  • Dried mustard powder

  • Paprika

  • Salt & peppa

VARIATION:

add

  • ground beef, or 50/50 burger + 1 egg (has not been tried with this combo but would likely be amazing)

Serve with Sliders:

  • 2 large onions

  • Large green bell pepper

  • 2 fresh jalapeños

  • BBQ sauce (ideally homemade)

  • chipotle or garlic aioli (optional)

  • Some type of bun


Instructions:

  1. Soak liver in milk for 20 minutes (removes any bitterness)

  2. Dice liver into small pieces (size of a lego or slightly smaller)

  3. Combine with small minced onion and egg as binder + salt and a little pepper + small splash of Worcestershire sauce and coconut aminos

  4. Form into small patties that will fit well on the bun

  5. Sautee on high heat in ghee or other cooking fat
